  1. Thanks for recommending The Cortisol Connection to me. I've been
working my way through it this week and it's certainly giving me food
    for thought.

I'm sure it won't surprise you to learn that I answered either 'yes'
or 'frequently' to almost every question on the test!

I nearly missed this post. Sorry!

No it wouldn't surprise me at all. Dunno what your normal state is, but
you have been under mega-stress lately, for sure.

Do please let me know if any of the suggestions help you. Unfortunately
I lent my copy out before I'd had a chance to formulate a plan.

No problem. I wasn't sure if it went anywhere except my ISP (they DO
that, sometimes) but it wasn't a big issue.

My 'normal' ground state - say, the past 10 years or so, basically
since my elder daughter was born - is pretty stressful. However, the
past 12 months, as you say, have been Mega-stressful.

Well, his recommended diet is much lower in fat and much higher in
carbs than my damaged body can tolerate, and I already exercise
regularly in similar fashion to his recommendations. However, I've
been looking into his supplementation regime and trying to remember to
work those into my Plan. I'm not always good at remembering those,
    but I'm trying to.

We'll see if the supplements alone are enough. If not, I'll be
looking into getting back into meditation and possibly some
    stress-relief programs or even counselling.
