Sorry, Michael. Came and went already. I was looking forward
to getting to see some faces to go with familiar names.
Actually, it turned out that I didn't have the time I
thought I would anyway.

Feasted one day on White Castle while driving with the other
hand and chopped on expensive trees much of the rest of the
time. The bonsai I saw there blew me away. I suddenly
realized that my trees were, um, like kindling sticking up
from expensive pots. Humbling.

Sounds like the surgery worked and that's good news.
They did what? Checked oil, other fluids, points and
plugs, er, universal joints, if you catch my drift...
that sort of thing?

It'll have to wait till next time, I'm afraid. It's New
jersey next week for a day or two (maybe), back to
Virginia to write some stuff for money and then a couple
weeks in various parts of Canada. Then I come back home
for a while...
