I was wondering about your sleep apnoea. I remember you said that your
weight loss kickstarted itself when the apnoea was treated. How do you
treat it?

I raised the head of my bed. Initially (since Himself was convinced
he'd never sleep that way) I used a triangular shaped 'wedge' pillow
to lift my head and shoulders. Later, when he decided it was worth a
try for him, I put a brick under each leg of the bed at the head end.
By raising the end just a little, it allowed gravity to hold my throat
open enough that I no longer snore (unless lying on my back, and even
then it's reduced dramatically) and therefore sleep better.
Mind you, this is only going to be enough for mild-to-moderate apnoea.
Still, it's a cheap solution and in my case has been enough to help.
