    Cheating whom?

I prefer to think of it as planning to include off-plan food in my diet plan
    for a day.

I thought this was low carb - not no carb - if a person can eat Thanksgiving
dinner and keep the carbs at a certain number - AND - the food they eat does
not cause cravings - then what is the harm of enjoying a couple foods that
you wouldn't normally eat. If I am doing this for life - I am not going to
completely give up foods I enjoy because they contain carbs. I enjoy a good
baked potato every now and then. I know they have carbs - but if the other
food I eat that day has essentially no carbs - then my net carbs for the day
would be what I want. If the potato causes me to come crashing down for
days afterward - then I realize that is a food I either avoid or rarely eat.
I think what we have to remember is that every one is different. Some foods
are bad triggers for some and not for others. Some of us can drink caffeine
with no problems - but for others it can be a major staller. If it works
for you - go for it.

BTW - I tried the pumpkin custard recipe posted recently - twice now - and I
love it. I took it to work and a couple people there tried it and loved it.
It almost turns out like a pumplin mousse.
