Why did you post this one?

    http://www.rustyiron.net/mikelane.jpg

And what was it you said in response to the criticism?

"Barbs and insults I can take, but you had better post up a pic of
yourself lest you look like a pathetic little [censored] who simply must
    look even worse than me."
    -- Mike Lane, April 3, 1998

I wonder if you ever stop to think what your obsession with this Mike
Lane guy is all about. Do you ever wonder why you save pictures of
him from 7 years ago (or maybe they are from 15 years ago for all we
    know)?

I like to remind Mike Lane of who he really is. He pretends he has
become wise and Humble, but in reality, he has simply gone from being
a hysterical little [censored] to being a condescending little [censored].

This is good. And why do you think you get such a rush from
attempting to remind others of what you see as their shortcomings?

    Is this thing on?

A rush? Don't flatter yourself, Mike. I just think people --
particularly people like you who enjoy giving smug assessments of
others -- should be held accountable for their own flaws. And I just
so happen to be good at accomplishing that.

Make no mistake: I am as subject to criticism as anyone else. I don't
shy away from it, and I don't try to disguise my identity with some
    pseudonym like "Joe Humble."

I hope you find that explanation satisfactory.

John, I'll be heading your way in mid Jan - would like to drop by to say
'hello' - shall I email you privately to make a time?

Ohio? You have my email address.

You're in Ohio? We just moved from outside of Canton, and now they're making
    us move again. 🙁

I thought you were in Vancouver WA. Did you recently move from there?

Yeah, I'm here. That's where they moved us from. The wife and I really like
it here, but they're going to move us to Utah a couple weeks before
Christmas. At least I'll get in an elk and blacktail hunt before leaving.
Speaking of which, do you butcher your own meat, or take it to someone? If
you take it to someone, who would you recommend?

The job I do, I'm kind of at the mercy of the fabricators for this DOT. If
they only paid me ~$40/hr, I'd tell them to go pound sand up their ass. But,
$ talks and the stuff that comes out of Roberts mouth walks.
