What team would you ride for and what would you do for that team(i.e. climbing domestique, TT specialiast, Classics specialist, etc.)?

Doesn't that descibe everyone on RAGT?!?!(sorry couldn't help myself!)

lol, well last year they had one good rider (Calzati), but he's now moved on, and the team is now full of 'has beens' or 'wants to be, but ain't good enough'.

I'd want to be Rubiera on DC, or maybe Guerini on T-Mobile. If that's not possible, I'd want to be Ace or Popovych on DC (more Ace than Popo). I wouldn't want to be a cyclist on whose shoulders all the hopes of any team currently rest, and yet I'd want to be important enough to the team that I would have job security. So maybe somebody like a Stijn Devolder would be nice too.

If I were on CSC, for example, I'd rather be a Jens Voight or C Sastre rather than a Basso. I'd rather be a M Velo on Fassa than Ale-Jet.

Ideally my old trainer partner, Martin Earley, his job at PDM circa 1990 working for Sean Kelly.

In the current peloton, I'd like to ride for Oscar Freire at Rabobank (he seems like a nice bloke) and/or Peter Van Petegem at Davitomon.
Job ? Anything.
I'd shovel **** if they asked me to.

I'm not sure I'd make it as a rider but it would be nice to be a mechanic with Lotto and ride Cadel Evans bikes when he's injured.

But if you are riding Cadels bikes when he is injured you'd be riding as much as the rest of the team!

That is funny 'mister doesn't know a lot about racing' Freire. Ever heard of the stories that Freire comes to Boogerd......Mike when does this race end...Boogie just laughed away and said 500 metres to go. Also he won Brabantse pijl did you know he had to hunt for the peloton the first 50 km, because he wanted to change clothes? (can't remember exactly) in the beginning of the race.
He is just TOO relaxed......also at a rest day at le tour the whole team trains but freire not (no biking for me today; quote freire). Haha imagine him saying that to lance......(clash of personalities that would be):p

Freire os one of the most successful cyclists in the peloton.
Relaxed approach or not, he's a winner.

Agreed, and amazingly talented....

Unfortunately that's true. Probably good for the rest of the team, I'm not much of a mechanic.

i would carry water for as long as i could stay under the time limit.

Can I try different things and see how I fare? Would love to be able to compete in any Grand Tour esp as a climber. Would also like to try being a Classics specialist at Dav-Lotto or QuickStep. A good finish in a bunch gallop would be great as long as you keep Hasselbacher away from me because I hate falling at speed.
