Stunning photos! How are you finding the S80 in use? I need to upgrade
my fairly old A20 now, it can't do many of the things I want in a
camera, and the colours and clarity of your photos are amazing
(including the older S60 ones!)

Hi Chris

Glad you liked the photos . As for the S80 the plus points

Greater resolution
Smaller size , only a bit smaller but it does make a difference
Speed of operation is quicker
2.5 inch screen is quite larger than the screen on the S60
There is a 1024 x 768 15fps movie mode which is quite impressive
There is a grid layout setting on the LCD screen which helps in lining up
horizons

minus points

More noise in darker areas although this can be improved quite a bit by
using neatimage
640 x 480 movie mode is [censored]
There is a wheel at the back of the S80 that allows easy adjustments of the
settings . Unfortunatly this adjustment is too easy and can be accidently
altered without knowing , I prefer the old menu method of adjusting settings
..
Uses SD cards so couldn't use my original CF card and had to invest in new
SD card instead .
