There's not much in it. CompactDrive first:

- Dimensions: 135(L) x 83(W) x 33(H)
- Weight: 447 g with NiMH batteries installed

vs

143mm X 92mm X 32mm
340g

Where the CompactDrive wins is in transfer speed and amount transfered
per battery charge. It's a lot cheaper too, not having any display
facility and using standard Ni-Mh AA cells.

I use Archos AV140 which I've had for about 18 months (s/h eBay £150),
but then I listen to MP3s (hiking and in-car) as well as needing a
Picture Bank. Replaceable Li-Ion and survived my Everest Basecamp trek
