  1. I recently moved to Phoenix and I'm looking for some good roads to ride. I live in north Phoenix, 101 & 51 area and there seems to be a lot of traffic? Anyone know of any good roads? Thanks in advance.

    Try this web site: http://www.sportsfun.com/gaba

Here are two web sites to look at:

ADOT bike site and the ABC site. If you are looking for a group to ride with the ABC group has lots of groups. Two of which are close to you at 36th St & Cactus (Roadrunner) and 7th Ave and Coral Gables (Greenway) (Moon Valley). The best thing I can suggest is to start riding with a group on Sat or Sun mornings and you will be shown the routs to use on those rides.

    azbikeclub.comazbikeclub.com

    azbikeped.orgazbikeped.org

    have fun riding

  4. Here are a couple suggestions:

Cave Creek Road up through the town of cave creek to Scottsdale Road (gas station there is common rest stop/meeting place for cyclists) continue east to Pima - south on Pima to Dynamite go east and climb up to Alma School road. You can do this as an out-and-back or you can continue down 9 mile hill to Rio Verde and then down to Fountain Hills.

Group rides: Airpark Bike or Bicycle Ranch have decent Sat morning rides. Also try the ABC rides.

    Good luck.
