  1. Hi,

I'm looking for a top-drawer wheel builder in the Philadelphia/Wilmington
area. Someone of Sheldon Brown/Peter White caliber, or as close as we can
    get. Any nominees?

    Thanks,
    RichC

  2. I would recommend my brother's shop, as biased as it seems. 🙂

    Tailwind Bicycles

Or you could try someone who doesn't work at a shop - me. I've build many
wheels, and follow the "Book"'s method with excelent results, that would be
Jobst's book. Plus I live closer to Wilmington, just north of Exton.

Find out who builds wheels for Stephen Bilenky of Bilenky Cycle Works. He's on
    North Second street. http://www.bilenky.com/index.htm
