Yeah, that's the weird thing.
I'm actually rebuilding two sets on two touring bikes.
The ones I'd done before (I replaced bearings 3 years ago before x-US ride)
took a bit of a tug to open them.
The ones that were factory-assembled still were basically finger-tight, both
front and rear.
I'm guessing a little more than finger-tight is appropriate, but I have a
bad tendancy to overtighten things a little.
I rarely actually get out the torque wrench, but was looking for a ballpark
idea?

Remember how hard you had to turn the Allen wrenches to take it apart?
No tighter than that.
