  1. For my last 20 pounds, it looks like I'm going to have to stop dining out.
I've made almost no progress for a month. When I dine out, I can only
estimate the calories, and I've been dining out a lot, a whole lot.

I just got back from Disneyland. Walt Disney doesn't know what low carb is,
so I ate a bunch of salads.

It will kill my social life, but my diet comes first. I shall eat only food
from home, from now on until goal.

  2. You might want to try exercising a bit more also.

Yes, I agree! Exercising more definitely will do nothing but help you.
    Good luck to you.

It doesn't have to kill your social life. You can eat before you go and
just have a salad with your friends, or a diet soda or something. Or,
you can invite them to your place and have a dinner party. I don't like
to eat out mainly because of the expense, so I often invite friends over
and make something easy like a chicken and veggie stir-fry, and play
board games or watch a movie or something. I've never had any
complaints about not serving carbs, my friends are just glad they didn't
have to cook. Also, you can do non-eating activities of course. If you
do eat out, you can minimize the damage by putting half of it in a to-go
box before you even start eating.
