Cheers bud, I'll give 'em a try. The Peugeot is a wreck, basically. My dad used it for riding to work for years, not once did he take the time to wash it let alone service it in all those years, despite being over £600 when new, alot of money back then! Pretty much everything's beyond repair. The only parts that don't need work are the bars and deraileurs. The frame and forks are straight and true but need a respray and the frame's bottom bracket shell might need either re-tapping or completely replacing, a very expensive process I'm told. If possible, I want to restore it with as many origional parts as possible and it looks like that could a long time. I'm after the new one so I can get back into training for the day I unleash the beast! There's a point, your new bike, is it one of them fancy invisible ones? It wasn't on the email you sent!😄
