What I didn't need at yesterday's triathlon was the appearance of a new split seam in my series of fallings apart. I could have sworn it was a bad knee like the other, but the x-ray showed some very pretty bones, so a combo tendonitis/bursitis was diagnosed by the P.A. and I'm still a somewhat happy camper. Who among you have solved such a problem and how long did it take?
Incidentally, I went to the zoo the day before and paid special attention to the human animals. They have grown since I was last there! I believe the rumors about the enlarging (<--euphemism) of America. This was impressive. A very subjective observation: we had lunch in the zoo cafeteria and I watched everyone; the *bigger* humans seemed to go at their hamburgers and fries with considerable energy, showing what appeared to me to be hostility towards their chosen repasts. Maybe hostility, like beauty, can be in the viewer's eye, but they really appeared quite vicious. You fluffo-plumpos out there: is it a love/hate relationship with food that contributes to the problem, if indeed there is any problem for you. I didn't mean to imply, etcetera.
