Does anyone know the best place to get up to date information on Perth bike paths? Normally I'd cycle on the road, but this is for taking my 18 month old son out in the trailer and I've been told in no uncertain terms by my wife that if I take him on the road and anything happens to him then I'd better make sure that I'm irrepairably squashed by the offending vehicle.
I've noticed that a fair length of the Armadale railway line has a path next to it. Does it go all the way into the CBD?
The DPI web site shows all the maps for *proposed* paths, but they're all 5 years old and work has clearly been done since then.
The best is to email your query to [email hidden]. I know there are current maps available, I have one here in front of me called "City of Perth Local Travelsmart Guide" that covers inner city.

Thanks, I've just done that. For the time being I'll just get off my increasingly flabby [censored] and cycle to where the nearest path is and see how far it goes. If you see a yellow Cannondale tractor (if I don't get round to putting on the slicks) with a kiddie trailer on the roads around Perth, it's not me, right! 😉
