I recently picked up a Performance Forte rear hub. And it appears to be unservicable.
No threads on axle, no allen heads, nothing to break it apart. Just thin 'washers' at the outer edges with metal 'dust seal' cones covering the axle until it goes into the hub body- similar to Shimano mountain bike dust seals, except metal, not rubber.
The freehub is noisy, and I would love to get inside to get more oil into it to quiet it down.
Before I lace up this hub- is there a way to get inside the freehub? Maybe the hub simply isn't worth much, a true throw-away part that I should only use for a beater wheel?

Why not ask Performance how to take it apart? It's possible it's just pressed together and will need to be tapped apart. If that's the case then you will probably want a fresh set of bearings for when you put it back together.
