I recently purchased a trek 2200 with shimano 105 pedals and some mountain bike shoes. I noticed that when i pull up really hard there's a clicking sound coming from my left shoe or pedal. It feels like the bottom of the shoe is flexing. Does anyone have the same problem or have a suggestion about what the problem could be?

I have the same problem on my s-works 05 road shoes. But it occurs on my spinner, not my litespeed
