    This sucks. The fees collected wouldn't even go to the federal land

    Agreed. I've refused to succumb to SoCal's so-called "Adventure Pass" scam;
    sounds like this will make it...toothier.

    Adventure Pass since. The NONs I received I just emailed to my congressman.
    Now I'll have to start figuring something else out.

    Amongst many things it just pisses me off that if I'm driving on a county or
    state maintained road and stop to eat a sandwich or take a picture that I
    have to pay a federal fee.

    Um, like you haven't ALREADY paid a boatload of fees! Property Tax, Sales
    Tax, Gas Tax(es), Tire Tax(es), Highway Tax(es), Parking Tax(es), Federal
    Tax, State Tax, Local Tax, Business Tax, Tacks Tax... ENOUGH!
