court has set October 27 as the date for initial proceedings of an inquiry
into possible doping by seven riders and two soigneurs during the 2001 Giro

ASO is REALLY [censored] 'cause they can't chuck Padernos and Zanini.
Although ASO appears to be the bike racings version of the Gestapo, the
UCI has to agree with them in order for the riders in question to be
dropped. The Italians have sent letters to UCI et al, indicating that
the Oct 27 hearing is a formality that will close the investigation.
