  1. 'Nother boot question.

A small hole has appeared in my leather boots at the crease where the boot
flexes for my toes (not so small that water can't get in!) Other than that
the boots are in good nick and I'm loathe to get a new pair, but I'm fed up
    of wet feet.

Any suggestions for how I can make a reasonably robust patch for the hole in
    this awkward spot?

I dunno, but if there's a reliable cobbler near you then maybe (s)he
    can advise?

    Best wishes,
