  1. Anyone have a decent recipe for pasta noodles? I tried the one with soy
flour and wheet gluten. It tasted like boiled vitamins. There's got to be
    somthing better.

  2. Spaghetti squash goes good with a meat sauce. Doesn't taste like noodles
    though.

  3. Try using Shirataki noodles instead of pasta. They are a very good
    substitute IMO.

I like cutting zucchini into really tiny thin strands. Then I put them in a
pot with some olive oil and sort of saute them for a few minutes. I use
that as a bed of pasta, I really like it.

I've also tried shirataki noodles from the asian store. I prefer the
    zucchini (or yellow squash) instead.

I'm planning on making lasagna this weekend if it's going to be cool again.
I also use zucchini for that. I slice the zucchini into thin strips and
bake them for a little bit, then layer them into my lasagna the way I used
to put the noodles into it. Yummy. I love the low-carb casserole-type
recipes I have because there's just something "homey" and familiar with
eating that way... comfort food for me, brings back memories. And being
able to eat my favorite dishes yet having all whole food ingrediants and
    healthy carb counts, it's a win-win. 🙂
