That was fun! We hired Reading Velodrome for Michael's 11th birthday party. We had some races, a slow race, a rolling race, I built a limbo pole, we used the site's half-cones for an obstacle relay race, and of course we had the ever-popular "devil take the hindmost". We also had a road sign challenge, a "naming of the parts" relay race, and a bike inspection. The party favours were reflective slap-bands and stickers from http://www.cyberglow.co.uk/.
Great fun. The velodrome had apparently never been hired for a birthday party before. Maybe others will try it now.

How many kids did you have, were many of them keen cyclists, how did they cope with riding the track?
