  1. Hi;

    Looking for a name or number for this part from an older Trek 750 hybrid bike (or a source...)

    On the front and rear brakes is a bridge/ Y cable:[IMG]timster.netDSCN0988.JPG[/IMG]

    Here's a closer view of the "top" part:[IMG]timster.netDSCN0989.JPG[/IMG]

    Brakes are Shimano "STX V System" short cantilever type. Levers are DiaCompe PC5 Versa

    I've seen a lot of references to Y cables, bridges, etc. but none of the catalogs have pics.

    Straddle wire, least thats what I've called it. The "A" designates the length of the cable.
