As long as he has good results the Dutch public won't care. I don't have specific inside infos about it but I know one of the main reasons for TD to stay with Rabobank was because of his friendship with Boogie. Rabo gave Gesink a contract until 2012, so the team made clear where their priority is...

No i think this year Gesink will not start at the Tour. Dekker will, but on the long term this will probebly change. Well if TD wins the Tour he probebly won't be allowed to defend his title anyway (uppps... sorry about that 😄 )

sandy casar, fdj. as for slipstream, their kit be damned, but it certainly fits their quirky attitude which i am finding intriguing. liking the 'stache and any team that lets a rider hang a pennsylvania bike plate from his saddle gets a cheer. go slipstream.

Millar had really bad weather, Hushovd had a dry road. bad crash for Farrar.

What the heck happened to Farrar? He finished three minutes down.

I assume he is over his illness from the ToC or he would not have started. He must have crashed bad if he lost that much.

There were some weather changes which affected the results somewhat. If he focuses on the overall, then maybe he just didn't want to risk anything in the rain.

But "hipp hurra for Thor!" 😄

Oh and something yet to be pointed out in this UCI - ASO tiff.

CSC are one of the official partners of the Paris Nice race. A nice little trump card played out by ASO in aligning itself with one of the strongest teams in Pro cycling.

I'll look forward to the brief coverage on Versus. Hopefully they show most of Thor's ride.
