For many, the word "race" would hardly conjure images of homemade paper machines in lieu of solid NASCAR stockcars-but such was the case Saturday morning at the EWU fieldhouse. Thirteen intercollegiate teams from campuses across Washington participated in the Human Powered Paper Vehicle Competition (HPPVC) on April 14 for the 12th year since the competition's inception.
