Panniers on a Brompton...

Have a look at Brompton's own front pannier system. It might look like
a bar bag, but it isn't! The mounting block sits on the main frame and
the pannier itself contains a frame, so the overall effect is quite
similar to the Moulton's setup. The main difference is the frame comes
off with the bag so it doesn't affect the fold at all. You can remove
the frame from the bag and just have it sat on the mounting block if you
want to lash something unwieldy on.

It works brilliantly well, goes on and off with a minimum of fuss, and
you have a choice of 4 bags.

Cheers, Pete - that sounds very promising! I will just have to wait
patiently for the 16 week delivery time to pass by... I ordered the
Brompton back in July, so am expecting to take delivery sometime around
Guy Faulkes Night!
