  1. I am posting for my girlfriend,

We started riding on a flat trail, about 20 mins into it she complained how her hands were starting to hurt and palms were becomming sore. (She has Gel Gloves on.)

Any idea what this could be? We only finished 10 miles and she had to stop. The bottom of the palms seemed red.

    Thanks

  2. You might try repositioning her brake levers. Other than that, no clue.

  3. Is she new to riding or is this a new bike? I ask, because it sounds as if she is positioned too far forward and leaning heavily on the handlebars. A proper bike fitting might be the answer:

  4. also,
saddle tilted downwards puts more pressure on hands. try to make sure saddle is level.
