I have a painful wart on the bottom of my foot and I am treating it but I am worried that do to the pain I will land incorrectly on my foot and cause a worse injury. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to cushion that darned thing, so I can run. Or do I take a few weeks off until its healed. Also, does anyone have any good home remedy's for foot warts (I like to collect stuff like that - the home remedy's not the warts)?

John
I never heard of a wart on the bottom of your foot. Has your foot been sleeping around? Sneaking out at night after you fall asleep? Waking up tired and hungover? Maybe it's a herpes sore.

First off, google "plantar wart". There's a cornucopia of information on the condition.
For relief, you might try cutting a hole in your insole beneath that spot. Or you could double up on inserts, and cut a hole through both layers if need be. I did that when I had metatarsal pain some years back, and it worked well.
It is probably a plantar wart. I had one on the heel of my foot. A plantar wart can have a deep root on it. Most of the store bought remidies willn't work on it. If they are not taken care of they will spread to other areas on your feet. You need to go to a foot doctor. I nick named my podiatrist the butcher. I had a couple of them removed. He had to dig and cut some pretty good size holes in my feet. I think I needed a blood transfusion by the time I left that place. Its better to get it taken care of before they get out of control. The longer you wait the bigger they get and the more painful they are to get removed. Make an appointment today.

Naw I was right. I saw his foot out last time at a disco, and BAREFOOT yet! It's stepping out on him, and sleeping around. It's a herpes sore.
