  1. Today I are been mostly working in Oxford.

I took the Flying Banana (it's maiden voyage in the bike compartment of a Virgin Voyager, an
inch-perfect fit!) and rode back via the B480 and B481. Lots of traffic (unlike NCN4) but good
surface most of the way. A couple of biggish hills, notably the one through Howe Wood which climbs
70m in about 0.5km. I wish I'd had the wide-ratio cassette! Or at least fixed the rear derailleur
hanger so I can use bottom gear. Horrific cramp ensued which took until after Nettlebed to work off,
and slowed me down a bit, so average speed was just
18.8mph (although part of that was due to cobbled roads and traffic jams in Oxford).

My computer says 26.6 miles and AutoRoute says 28.3 so I may need to do a more careful rollout test
    on the Stelvios.

Anyway, it was a pleasant ride and a reasonably easy one. There were quieter alternatives to much of
the route (e.g. via Britwell Salome) but the idea was to get home not go for a leisurely trundle.

    FWIW I use 1440 for a 28-406 Stelvio.

Ta. I'll feed that in, if I'm wrong I'll be exactly as wrong as you ;-)
