I recently brought a book called 'SERIOUS training for Endurance Athletes', by Rob Sleamaker and Ray Browning. First of all I must say how I recommened it highly!
Im guessing most of you know about overdistance training so I thought I would ask about it here. To quote the book it says "Use OD workouts as easy, comfortable, and enjoyable exercise - you'll be very tired by the end'. It also says that it should all be done in Zone 1 of your heart rate. I dont understand how you can possibly be 'very tired' at the end of it if your taking it so easy?! 😕 .
I just got back from doing a session and most of time I was doing around 11mph and had to resist any temptation to go faster. What sort of speeds/HR do you guys/girls average while doing this type of training?
Cheers 🙂
