  1. Since there are a bunch of Linux users here, anyone else going to OLS?
I'm bringing my muni for the bike ride... Easier to pack ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. Is it a Linux promo show or a bike ride? I'm confused.

  3. Yeah, so i just did a search, and, clearly, it is a b*ke ride. Sorry.
Why is it called a *hacker* b*ke ride?

  4. It's a symposium for linux professionals and enthusiasts, a 4 day event
with many technical talks and such ("Linux AIO Performance and
Robustness for Enterprise Workloads" for example) and on the last day
they have what's called the "hacker bike ride"... hacker being a term
used by most of the tech community to mean someone skilled at
programming, as opposed to someone who breaks into computer system to do
bad/illiegal things which is how the media defines "hacker"... but
    that's a whole other thread ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyways, I'm planning on bringing my uni this year instead of my bike.
