In rec.travel.europe (plus a heaps of other groups) a troll started a thread
called "NAAFA's Airline Tips for Fat People". Impressively, there were 1556
replies, not including the ones that weren't archived or many of the other
threads where people had changed the subject line. It was so big that it
brought my Outlook Express to a grinding halt.

It was started by someone called
"[email hidden]_(Steve_Chaney,_aka_Mister_Gunnykins_®)_
([email hidden]_(Steve_Chaney,_aka_Mister_Gunnykins_®)_)", and
drifted massively from the original post in numerous directions. His
trolling was so effective that he never needed to reply again.

I can't figure out if there has ever been a bigger thread than that, but
whoever he is, he must be proud!
