  1. Anybody here recall which shoes are compatible with the old Time Equipe
    pedal system (two cleats, 4 holes per shoe)? I'm partial to Time Equipes
    and don't want to switch. If any of you have a pair of such shoes in a EUR
    46/US 12, please let me know.

    (a) ask on rec.bicycles.tech where the shopowners hang out

    (b) some shoes like Sidi and Carnac used adapter plates which were
    available in Time hole pattern. Look for these, but you might want
    to buy local to make sure you get the right ones. I'm pretty sure
    not all Sidis used the adapter plate.
