This is a smart newsgroup (no dull brains from low-fat dieting), and I know I can get an answer here:
I just got the Firefox browser and Thunerbird newsreader combo -- as some of you have recommended -- and I love them. I have one question about Thunderbird.
Does anyone know if there is a way to save "View" setting that I've changed? The newsreader defaults to individual posts rather than threads, and then when I choose to view in threads they are all expanded. I have to go to View and collapse them. But next time I restart the reader it goes back to the unwanted defaults and I have to reset the setting again.
