Quoted message said:A fantastic surf movie made by Dana Brown the son of one of the makers of "Endless Summer".
Great interviews of old-timers as well as the newer hot surfers. Beautiful cinematography
especially the underwater views of waves. The film doesn't only focus on the extreme aspects of
the sport but the footage of the Cortes Banks is hair raising.
It's on my list of "to see" movies for sure. Sometimes I miss surfing, but when I go to SoCal and
see how damn crowded the water is nowdays, that notion is quickly dispelled.
I agree. However, when I ride the 9'8" board, I am up and riding long before the kooks and barneys
are even paddling. Once they see this big ol' board coming down the face of a wave at them, they
usually wait for the next wave.

JD looking for property in Costa Rica, peeling lefts in the AM, singletrack in the PM
Got a bro who goes to Costa every winter (he lives in Hatteras spring to fall) and wants to move
there and have some chickens & stuff. (his words) We're not sure if he found a little slice of
heaven or if he cracked some more. It sounds cool until you hear how some of the locals treat him.
