skips around and screws up the way it looks.
if you want to fix this, click on tools, options, then click the send tab, then the plain text settings under 'news sending format'. change the 'automatically wrap text at "___" characters' to 80.

You mistyped that number. It would be better set to "72."

Are my messages set to wrap properly?
Looking at several messages you just sent, the wrap looks like it took fine. Always click "apply" before you exit the preferences in Netscape.

Don't confuse a present message that you are replying to with one that's already been posted. The "wrap" is the command that's applied after you send it.
Good luck getting everything reset. I feel your pain on having to reinstall everything.

I have had some computer and browser woes (again!) lately and had to reinstall everything again. Are my messages set to wrap properly? Do they look okay? For some reason it appears to me like one long run on line... I'm using Netscape 7.2. HELP! Waaaaaaaa! Goomba

My saving grace is that I use online back up for my financial records. God, I'd be in deep kimchi if those were bunged, y'know? But getting the damn computer tweaked up again to where it was previous to it's little meltdown in a bloody PITA. Goomba
