Having repeatedly asked BT Openwoe to (a) give me an exact date & time when my service would be
disconnected for transfer to Demon or (b) let me know at the time it was done, they did (c) -
send me a letter saying it would be "some time after 9th July" and then cut me off on Friday
evening. Still, I suppose if BT had Clue 1 about customer service I woudn't be switching in the
first place...
Since then I have (curiously) had intermittent service on the ADSL but anyway I'm essentially
offline until Demon give me a username and password. Until then you can get me on guy dot chapman
at spamcop dot net, which I will be checking periodically from work (it no longer forwards to my
work address).
