OT:More Technical Trouble

Mozilla can't handle the load of threading a group with 100s of
posts/day? [Seems unlikely, but possible.]

There's a setting somewhere you've missed for specifying preferences
for individual groups?

Maybe just try unsubscribing from RFC then subscribing as if to a new
group (c.f. what you did with aus.food)?

I don't use Thunderbird, but these things are fairly universal.

Sounds like "thread" is your default setting and somehow, you've
changed it to list by date. I'm assuming that you have titles/tabs
above that say: subject, author and date? You probably double clicked
on "date" at one time to find something.... double click on the word
"subject" or whatever that column is called. You should get your
threading back.

If that doesn't work check Help > Index > thread subject. Otherwise,
post a query to netscape.public.mozilla.browser

make choices under the "Sort" "Thread" "Messages" subcats.
I prefer to reaad mine oldest first, by subject, only unread.

Thankyou for that advice. It appears that I'm doing the same as you,
but I might play around with the settings a bit. When I say in my next
post that I fixed it, I don't really understand what I did, but I'm
terrified of doing something wrong. The rational part of my brain tells
me that I can't do anything terminal, but I'm very easily spooked when
it comes to computers (and I *still* can't seem to killfile that pest
Chung).
