And this paragraph is the one that makes this scam illegal. It isn't the
"Put me on your mailing list" that makes it legal; you can send money to
whomever one wants. But, AFAIK, it's the *promise* (express or implied) of
huge returns that makes this and other pyramid schemes illegal.
