Continuing from my previous post about removing speed humps and
vehicles going too fast and crashing...
So I, and several neighbours got on to the council. My councillor was
surprised that the humps had been removed as part of the resurfacing
as apparantly they normally work around them. Anyway, they've been
back and supposedly reinstated them. Except what they've put down are
more like pimples than humps. They're alos so far apart that anything
narrower than a humvee can just drive between them withough touching
them. To add to the farce, the day before the work someone had marked
out the road with painted squares where presumably the humps should
have been placed, but they missed.
A bunch of photos of the debacle have been sent to the council to see
what they have to say.
