OT: Help the pets too

I try and remember to do it every day and with the aftermath of
the hurricanes it's even more important. It only takes two seconds
and helps a lot of animals of all kinds.

Makes more sense to personally bring actual food to a local shelter.
Most every neighborhood will have a *no-kill* animal shelter where one
can drop off food, and don't forget toys too. Everytime I do my
grocery shopping I buy a couple large bags extra and it's no problem to
swing by the local shelter to make a drop off, and spending even a half
hour playing with the animals is most appreciated and rewarding. "Love
'N' Care Pet Sanctuary" in East Durham, NY does a great job. And they
have a program where they see to it that cash donations actually go to
directly help the four legged hurricane victims... those are the true
victims, in fact they are the only victims, they weren't given a choice
to leave. I have no empathy whatsoever for the two legged dreck, I
never have empathy for gross stupidity and laziness. I'd always rescue
animals first.

Hi Shel, long time. I hope you have your Kabota ready for the winter,
I'm seein' signs of a bad one.

We routinely take food to our Poughkeepsie SPCA, this is just another
easy way to help a little bit more.
