Recently bought Autoroute 2007 and was hoping to upload routes to my Garmin
Vista C60 for road use. My Garmin works OK with Anquet and Memory Map, but
fails to get detected by Autoroute. The following message is displayed:
'No GPS receiver detected. Make sure that the GPS cable is plugged into the
communications port (COM) on your computer and that no other program is
using it.'
Now, I connected using USB, and no other program was using the GPS. I went
through the various permutations of switching off, unplugging re-starting
Autoroute etc, but still no detection! Of interest, I am using Windows
Vista.
Is the Vista C60 compatible with Autoroute?
Should I be using a COM port? (I use USB for the mapping software)
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
