  1. Brian is totally against any possibility of elections in Iraq due to
    the violence and unsettled conditions.
Why hasn't Brian lashed out at these:
    http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/DB17EF45-F488-4D20-8768-EB86E4FB33A2.htm
I don't see any less violence, fraud and intimidation here.
I'm sure that these will be accepted by the UN and Brian's friends as
good while they will rip the Iraqi elections. They ripped the concept
of elections in Afghanistan until they came off successfully, then they
ignored them and their previous portents of doom.
If anyone doesn't give a [censored] about helping people it's them. It's
about furthereing their global agenda no matter the human cost. That
was pretty much the Stalinist/Maoist pattern, and this is what they
    believe in.

Brian I might be wrong, but this is exactly what you have conveyed to
me and most of RBR unless I'm mistaken. I haven't figured out what your
foreign policy would be other than the US needs to handcuff itself when
nobody else is paying any attention to international law. You insist
that US types be prosecuted, yet you are silent about demanding that
others be prosecuted. I have yet to get an e-mail from you, or the
people you support demanding that Sunni/Palestinian clerics be arrested
for war crimes. I do have a bunch of them insisting Americans be
    prosecuted.

Iraq is not ready for a democracy. Neither is Afghanistan. They haven't
developed the national institution (independent judiciary) necessary to
    support democracy.

Damn, and here when I met (President) Hamid Karzai when he came over and sat
at the table and talked with me and my wife I could have sworn that he was
completely as well educated as any American. And all of the other Afghanis
in there, in that section of Union City and in Newark and Fremont all seemed
honest, straightforward and certainly a great deal more human that the
    nay-sayers here.

But if you think that he and his people are stupid I suppose you know what
    you're talking about Henry.

    Quoted message said:

Afghanistan is just a puppet government. If we left, warlordism would
    return immediately.

Yeah, you're so smart and those stupid Afghanis are soooooo dumb. Maybe you
ought to vote yourself in as Supreme Ruler of Afghanistan and Transylvania.

    Quoted message said:

Let me also say that my prediction here in rbr prior to the Iraq War
was correct: that the nation's security situation would eventually
    devolve into a civil war.

Civil war? Perhaps you ought to explain why there are no real problems
outside of the Sunni triangle. Is that what you call civil war?

The great majority of our countrymen don't understand the "tribal"
traditions of the more ancient cultures.

It would appear that some of our countrymen don't have any clue what
    "tribal" means.

Thats pretty much spot on, but there is more to it. The end prize is the
    oil
but since it's rbr, I will restrain myself. Pappy is watching.

Since there's no oil to speak of in Afghanistan I have to wonder what you're
talking about. There's also no great amount of oil in Iran.

The idea of Iraq's oil, contrary to the really poorly educated opinions
here, is to keep oil ON THE FREE MARKET. Anyone with a shred of experience
and education would tell you that the greatest good for the greatest number
of people comes from a free market economy in all essential goods and
    services.
