Apologies for this - but I'm hoping to use urc as an exended community /
memory augmentation...
A couple of weeks ago I listened to a book review on R4 about 'Brands' - I
don't
suppose anyone else did and remembers the name of the book?

Nope. But faced with a similar situation a month or so back, I went to
a Real Bookshop and askedthe nice man there. He remembered the book I
meant , and we flicked through a magazine called "Books in Media"
until we found it.

Hi there,
You may be able to find it on the R4 website on 'Listen Again'
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/index.shtml?logo. If not, it's worth
ringing them up and asking. I've been given the names of specific
pieces of heart-stopping music when I've rung the BBC in desperation a
couple of times.
Best wishes,
