One would have thought so. I saw a show on the Discovery Channel where
Lance was training, scoping out some of the stages, Johan driving the
car. At a break - with Lance teasing Johan with the offer of $100K if
Johan could climb the mountain Lance had just done (no takers) - Lance
pulled out a zippered bag with his mojo. At first I thought it was a
joke, but he's pulling out fourleaf clovers, and a yellow jersey from a
particular stage and all sorts of stuff, reciting the history of each
piece. They were all of his lucky charms. No joke.
