Osteitis Pubis - Anyone get over this?

I had this last year. It hurt badly whenever I even coughed
or sneezed. I think I got it from running with bad form due
to a sprained ankle (It didn't bother me when I ran, so I
kept running on it while it healed.)

By the time I figured out what it was, I was less than a
month away from a marathon, so I ran it anyways. (end of
May) taking Motrin after each run.

After the race, I stopped running (ZERO) for ~3 - 4 months.
Did cycling, swimming, weight training instead.

Started some light running (Very moderate pace, ~10 miles a
week) late September, making sure I stretched the lower
back, groin and abductor (? - muscles that pull your leg
in) before and after each run. Also took 400 mg Motrin
after each run.

Started ramping back up in December but NO SPEEDWORK,
RELIGIOUS STRETCHING AND 400 MG MOTRIN AFTER EACH RUN.
I'm still not fully up to speed, but I'm running a
marathon on Saturday (my 12th) and have no signs of OP.
(Fingers crossed)

For reference, I'm 37, 5'11", 170 lbs,and typically average
25-30 miles a week. Hope this helps.
