Diabetics suffer damage to the nervous system. The most noted one is numbness or pain in the extremities.
However damage occurs in other systems, One problem I have is hypotension. (low Blood pressure).
If I stand up suddenly I almost blackout. A doc can identify the problem taking blood pressure in different positions.
I see little mention of it here but I know of six cases in local diabetics. Add this to the list of problems we develop. Keep the sugars under control.
Is there other problems caused be diabetic nerve damage? Guy
Guy, most anywhere we have nerves (and where don't we) they may present problems. I have the orthostatic hypotenson myself, gastro parsis, etc. When bg's are under good contol some ot the symtoms decrease, but so far, not gone for good.
