I am looking for a self-guided tour with accommodation and luggage transfer included, because I am frankly too idle to sort all of this out for myself. I want to do about 70 or 80 miles a day (so I am not that idle!). Last year I went on Fernando Carvalho Tours in Portugal (www.fcarvalho-ciclismo.com), which was great, but I want to go somewhere else this year.

Can anyone recommend a tour similar to this one, which will let me go when I want and with who I want and not cost a fortune?
Thanks,
Josh

Don't know if this fits. Get to Perth by September 27 - arrive Melbourne on October 31. Cycle 2400 miles in the middle over 5 weeks ( a few days over 100 miles). Will need to pitch a tent. Cost is modest.

Look at www.cycleacrossoz.com

Carrinm
(participant in 2002 and again on Sept 27)

Are you interested in Ireland at all? If you are, check out http://www.irondonkey.com. I used their services last year to plan my own 2 week tour in Ireland, although I opted to carry my own gear rather than use their luggage transfers. You can read about my tour at http://denise2003ireland.crazyguyonabike.com.

I've been looking at a company called www.cyclevents.com. They look like they offer some pretty good tours. However, since I haven't compared prices, I couldn't tell you if they are a good deal or not.
