Interesting.. never seen those before.
from the photos on the site it looks like a very Small area where the pressure transfers to the bottom of the shoe, and if it is not a VERY stiff sole, you may get "hot spots". Unlike other cleats that are connecting to the shoe with a larger area, spreading the pressure around..

they do look wierd. Plus they are only titanium so they are a bit wimpy.
