    Date Nut Orange Bread

    Serving Size: 4

    2 Eggs
    1/2 cup Sugar
    1/2 cup Honey
    2/3 cup Orange juice
    6 tablespoon Butter ; melted
    1 teaspoon Vanilla
    2 cups Flour
    2 teaspoons Baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
    1 cup Chopped dates
    3/4 cup Chopped walnuts

    Beat together ingredients in left column (eggs through vanilla) until
    blended. Add remaining ingredients all at once and stir until mixture is
    just moistened. Do not over mix. Pour mixture into three small greased
    loaf pans (6x3x2) and bake at 350 for 25 minutes, then lower temperature
    to 325 and bake for 10 minutes. Test with tooth pick for doneness. Allow
    to cool in pans for 10 minutes then remove from pans and cool further on
    rack. Serve with Orange Marmalade Butter

    1 medium Orange
    2/3 cup Dates ; pitted
    1/2 cup Walnut meats
    2 Tablespoon fuls butter
    1/2 cup Hot water
    3/4 cup Sugar
    1 Egg beaten
    2 cups Flour
    1/4 Teaspoon ful salt
    1/2 Teaspoon ful soda and
    1/2 Teaspoon ful baking powder

    Cut whole orange (peel and pulp) into 6-8 sections. Put orange sections,
    dates and nuts through mincer. Add hot water and butter. Pour in
    well-beaten egg. Sift flour, salt, baking powder, soda and sugar. Add to
    fruit mixture. Bake in greased loaf pan in moderate oven(350 F) for 11/4
    hours. Cool thoroughly before slicing. Serve with orange marmalade or
    cream cheese balls which have been rolled in grated orange peel.

    2 cup Sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp Baking powder
    1/2 tsp Baking soda
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1/2 cup Boiling water
    1 cup Dates
    1 med Orange ; cut in eighths
    1 Egg
    2 Tbsp Soft butter
    3/4 cup Sugar
    1/2 cup Nuts

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift and measure flour and sift again with
    baking powder, soda and salt into a large mixing bowl. Blend boiling water
    with dates using blender. Add orange and continue blending until fine. Add
    egg, butter and sugar and blend about 30 seconds. Add nuts and turn
    blender off immediately. Stir together slightly. Turn batter into
    prepared 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake until done, about 1 hour. Allow
    to cool about 10 minutes before removing from pan.

    1 Egg ; slightly beaten
    1 tsp Vanilla
    2 cup All-purpose flour
    1 tsp Baking powder
    1/2 tsp Baking soda
    1/4 tsp Salt
    1/2 cup Chopped nuts ; such as pecans
    And walnuts)

    Grease and flour inside of Bread 'n Cake Bake Pan. In large bowl, combine
    snipped dates and orange peel. Stir in boiling water and orange juice. Add
    sugar, shortening, egg and vanilla, stirring just until mixed. In medium
    bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add flour
    mixture to date mixture. Stir in nuts. Pour into prepared Bread 'n Cake
    Bread Pan. Place cover on Bake Pan. Place Bake Pan in slow cooker Slow
    Cooker. Cover Slow Cooker and bake on HIGH 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Check bread
    after 1 1/2 hours for doneness. Bread is done when sides start pulling
    away from pan.

    loose pack chopped dates
    2 cup Chopped good quality pecans
    1/2 tsp Salt
    Grated rind of an orange
    1/2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F Beat eggs, add sugar, salt, orange zest.
    Sift baking powder with flour and fold into mixture. Add pecans, dates,
    vanilla. Bake in greased 9 X 5 loaf pan about 1 hours and 15 minutes.

    Pineapple Orange Nut Loaf

    3/4 cup Brown sugar
    1/4 cup Shortening
    1 Egg
    2 cup Flour
    1 tsp Soda
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/3 cup Frozen orange juice ; thawed
    8 3/4 Ounce Can of crushed
    Pineapple
    Drained
    1/2 cup Whole nutmeats

    Cream together sugar and shortening; add egg. Beat well. Add flour, soda
    and salt, alternately with orange juice. Stir in pineapple and nuts. Turn
    into a well greased loaf pan or 3 small loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for
